My story – how did I start making jewelry?

I started making jewelry back in 2009. The reason was quite simple – everything I could find in stores felt a little too ordinary and too similar.

But jewelry is so much more than just decoration. It is a way to express yourself, show your personality and add something uniquely you to your look. And who wants to be boring and ordinary anyway? :)

So, in the beginning, I started creating jewelry just for myself – following my own ideas and making exactly the kind of pieces I wanted to wear.

It didn’t take long before other people started noticing them too. First my friends, then acquaintances began asking:

“Oh my God, have you made something new and amazing again? Make more – everyone else wants one too!”

And that is how my jewelry journey began – a journey that has stayed with me ever since.

Uniqueness in every piece...

I have always believed that every person is unique and special – so why shouldn’t our jewelry reflect that too?

In a world of fast fashion, where everything can start to look the same, jewelry can be that small detail that makes you stand out and lets your personality shine through.

You don’t need an enormous jewelry collection, but even a single piece can completely change the mood of an outfit. Personally, I would rather own fewer clothes and have more jewelry to choose from – although I suppose that comes with being passionate about creating and wearing it. :)

To me, jewelry is like a tiny piece of art – something that makes its wearer feel truly unique.

Every piece I create is one of a kind. I make only one of each design. Sometimes another piece may be similar, but it will never be exactly the same. That is what makes every MOON minerals piece truly individual.

I mainly work with natural gemstones, each carrying its own character, history and origin. Occasionally, I also use seed beads when I want to create something especially delicate and minimal.

All materials are carefully selected for their quality and sourced from trusted suppliers I have worked with for years. Finding truly beautiful, high-quality materials has taken years of experience. Different suppliers have different strengths – some have exceptional gemstones, others beautiful metal components and findings.

One thing is certain: I am very particular about quality.

Every finished piece has to be something I love so much that I would happily wear it myself. :)

For me, quality and design belong together – you simply cannot have one without the other.

My message to you...

Jewelry is never just jewelry.

It is an expression of your personality. A small detail that can give you confidence, highlight your individual style and tell a little piece of your story.
